TAPS Online Community Registration Agreement

I understand that this restricted site is intended for the private use of and safe exchange of information among adult survivors (18 years of age and older) who have been affected by the death of a loved one serving in the armed forces, and I certify that I am such a person.

By accepting the terms of the agreement and typing full name in the electronic signature below, I verify that the personal information I provide to TAPS is accurate and that I support the mission and goals of TAPS and agree to abide by the any and all restrictions set forth on this site, including, but not limited to the "Terms" of use. Furthermore, I agree I that will not attempt to use the Online Community to attempt interviews with group members for research or other purposes. I will maintain all conversations in a supportive, respectful, and compassionate manner, and will refrain from divisive topics (i.e., politics, religion).

Survivor includes anyone mourning the loss of a loved one whether a child, spouse, significant other, sibling, friend, battle buddy or extended family member.
Your email address is also your TAPS member username.
Your online display name is what will appear when you enter a TAPS chat room, reply to message boards or add comments to our blogs.
